Spectrum Painting in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey is actively seeking a confident and resourceful full-time Sales Estimator to create detailed estimates of our services and communicate with our clientele for customer service and support. This estimating position earns a base salary of $31k plus commissions – total compensation $75k – $85k first year. Those experienced in sales will have the opportunity to achieve a salary of over $100K. We provide benefits, including health benefits, paid time off, company car, and 401K. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES ESTIMATOR
As an estimator, precision and attention to detail are key for providing residential and commercial customers estimates for concrete flooring, painting, and light carpentry. Strong written and verbal communication skills come in handy when maintaining customer contact through phone calls, emails, and job visits for a thorough follow-up and excellent customer service support. Networking and marketing techniques are valuable when you contribute to marketing programs and participate in networking activities to grow the company’s outreach of clientele. Your persistence and professionalism guide your way to becoming the greatest sales estimator that you can be!
SALES ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License with clean record
- Fluent in the English language
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must comply with our policies including a tobacco-free work environment
One to two years of estimating or sales experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred!

SALES ESTIMATOR WORK SCHEDULE
This estimating position is Monday through Friday during business hours with occasional early evenings and Saturdays as needed. Your flexibility is a significant factor in excelling at sales!
